How to Delete Your Account
🚨 Important Reminders
- No refunds: Active subscriptions are not refundable
- Cancel first: Cancel any subscriptions before deleting
- Pending bookings: Cancel all bookings first
- 30-day recovery: You have 30 days to recover your account
- Permanent after 30 days: Data cannot be recovered after
Method 1: Through Mobile App
- Open Sympo app
- Tap Profile
- Scroll to bottom
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Select reason for leaving (optional but helps us improve)
- Tap "Delete My Account"
- Confirm by tapping "Yes, Delete"
Method 2: Email Request
If you can't access your account:
- Email: deleteaccount@sympo.club
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include:
- Full name
- Registered email
- Phone number
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- Government ID for verification
- We process within 48 hours
- You'll receive confirmation email
Method 4: Phone Support
After Deletion
Immediate Effects (0-24 hours)

- ✓ Cannot login to app/website

30-Day Grace Period
Changed your mind? You can recover your account within 30 days:
- Login with your email and password
- Click "Restore Account"
- Your profile and data will be restored
- All matches and messages recovered
After 30 days, recovery is impossible. Account is permanently deleted.
After 30 Days - Permanent Deletion

Q: Can I delete my account and create a new one immediately?
A: Yes, but you cannot use the same email/phone number for 30 days. After 30 days, your email becomes available again.
Q: Will other users know I deleted my account?
A: No. Your profile simply disappears. They won't receive any notification.
Q: What happens to my messages?
A: Your messages disappear from your view immediately. Other users will see "[User deleted account]" in the chat history.
Q: Can I get a refund for my subscription?
A: No, subscriptions are non-refundable as per our Refund Policy. Cancel auto-renewal to prevent future charges.
Q: What if someone is impersonating me?
A: Don't delete your account! Instead, report the fake profile: support@sympo.club. We'll take action within 24 hours.
Q: I'm being harassed. Should I delete?
A: No! Block the user and report them immediately. We ban violators within 24 hours. You can also hide your profile temporarily.
Q: How do I delete just my photos, not my account?
A: Go to Settings → Edit Profile → Click on photo → Delete. You can remove photos individually.
Q: Will my bookings be cancelled?
A: Yes, all pending bookings are automatically cancelled. You'll receive refunds as per our cancellation policy.
Q: Can I download my data before deleting?
A: Yes! Go to Settings → Privacy → Download My Data. You'll receive a file within 48 hours.
Q: What happens to my reviews and ratings?
A: Reviews of venues remain (anonymized as "Sympo User"). Your profile ratings are deleted.
